“No-Cheese” Sauce

Soak cashews for one hour.

2 cups water

1 cup raw cashews

1 Tablespoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast

1/2 cup plant based milk, preferably almond

  • Place cashews, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, salt, and milk into blender.

  • Blend until smooth. Taste, checking if seasoned to your liking.

  • Add more milk if needed to get the consistency you prefer.

The sauce is great for pasta and Mexican dishes.
